Story: The Mutative Virus of Anti-Semitism, Israel, May 29th/ 2021

Updated: Jan 17, 2022

Hydra's Anti-Semitism hideous viral top, like the a gigantic serpent monster with 9 heads from the Greek mythology, which every time someone would cut off one of them, 2 more heads would grow out of the stump, once again, has upraised and spouted its poisonous venom.

Very minuscule causative circumstances are needed to rattle the stealth virus from its quasi dormant mutative mode, and when awake, it exudes toxic violent pandemic infection.

What had ignited the world's oldest incurable malady surge?

This May 2021, right after the Corona pandemic crisis, the rupture in the

Israeli-Hamas a-symmetric war, which was excused by the fake claim on Israel's intention to takeover the El Aqsa Mosque, and followed by the murderous Hamas - Islamist Terror organization's fire , thus resulted in Israel's defensive 'Guardian of the walls" operation to stop the shelling on Israel's innocent civilians.

Non Involved Innocent Jews, their establishments and services, were violently attacked in Israel, and all over the world, just because they were perceived as Jews, while Israel, state itself was zoomed on, singled out, and subjected to ferocious de-legitimization..

by Shane Harris (Washington Post)

A series of attacks on Jews in the U.S. in recent days, linked to the conflict between Israel and Hamas, has increased pressure on law enforcement officials, lawmakers and the Biden administration to take more steps to quell anti-Semitic violence. Since May 10, at least 26 instances of anti-Semitism have been reported from Los Angeles to New York, instances of vandalism at synagogues and Jewish community centers.

Several of the country's most prominent Jewish organizations sent a letter to the White House urging President Biden "to speak out forcefully against this dangerous trend and stand alongside the Jewish community in the face of this wave of hate

Acts of anti-Semitism have spiked in many corners of the Western world.

Anti-Semitism has been haunting our societies for years, but today it is no longer confined to the fringes of society.
Social media has normalized anti-Semitic tropes and attacks. The Anti-Defamation League's Center on Extremism found 17,000 tweets which used variations of the phrase "Hitler was right" in just one week. Likewise, Anti-Semitism has ferociously spread across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, in large part due to a group of popular "influencers" who use their platforms to highlight the Palestinians' plight.
Take supermodel Bella Hadid, who has almost four times as many Instagram followers as there are Jews in the entire world. She joined a pro-Palestinian protest, chanting: "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" - an anti-Semitic slogan coined by the Palestine Liberation Organization to call for the elimination of Israel.

The Pandemic of Anti-Semitism By Donna Brazile (WSJ)

Ms. Brazile is a former chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

Jew-hatred is wrong whether it comes from neo-Nazis or left-wing activists.

As if the coronavirus pandemic isn’t bad enough, another sickness is breaking out across the world—a pandemic of anti-Semitism. Hatred of the Jewish people is only one expression of the virus of prejudice. Even our most brilliant scientists can’t develop a vaccine for this disease. All of us—citizens and government officials—need to do our best to stamp it out.

So what is antisemitism ?

While reasons for hating Jews may have changed over the centuries, the symptoms of Jew hating racism have remained the same claims Joan Swirsky,

Ø Thinking obsessively about Jews or Israel

Ø Fulminating with hatred,

Ø Blaming everything wrong in one's life and society on Jews,

Ø Joining with other racists to inflict harm,

Ø In many cases, devoting own life to this obsession.

All of it is also driven by pathological jealousy

The late, Rabbi Jonathan Sacks was one of the greatest scholars and moral thinkers of our time.  This brief video of his (below) was created in 2018 and is prescient regarding the most recent War against Israel, which has awaken an incredible surge in violence.

So what is antisemitism ? Let’s be clear–illuminates Rabbi sacks

Not liking people because they’re different isn’t antisemitism. It’s xenophobia

Criticizing Israel isn’t antisemitism: it’s part of the democratic process, and Israel is a democracy. Antisemitism is something much more dangerous – it means persecuting Jews and denying them the right to exist collectively as Jews with the same rights as everyone else. It’s a prejudice that like a virus, has survived over time by mutating.

Ø So in the Middle Ages, Jews were persecuted because of their Religion. Ø In the 19th and 20th c they were reviled because of their Race. Ø Today, Jews are attacked because of the existence of their Nation State, Israel.

Denying Israel’s right to exist is the new antisemitism.

And just as antisemitism has mutated, so has its legitimization.

Each time, as the persecution descended into barbarity, the persecutors reached for the highest form of justification available.

Ø In the Middle Ages, it was Religion. Ø In post-Enlightenment Europe it was Science: the so called scientific study of race.

Ø Today it is Human Rights.

Whenever you hear Human Rights invoked to deny Israel’s right to exist, you are hearing the new antisemitism.

The malicious absurdity is, that Islamist Terror organizations as Hamas, hides for its own military shield, while attacking Israel, behind their own civic population, especially women and children, thus violating grossly their human rights, however Hamas cynically blames Israel for defending itself, using against the state, the Human Right excuse, as to de-legitimise Israel - a Democratic state, in the International sphere.

What is further more disgustingly absurd is that the International entities readily buy into the vicious accusation against Israel and singled it out to further de-legitimize it.

Why then should we all care about this?

After all, if we’re not Jewish, what has it got to do with us?

The answer is, that anti-Semitism is about irrational scapegoating, blaming and inability of a group to make space for difference of another.

And because we are all different, the hate that begins with Jews never ends with Jews. It wasn’t Jews alone who suffered under Hitler. It wasn’t Jews alone who suffered under Stalin.

It isn’t Jews alone who suffer under the radical Islamists and others who deny Israel’s right to exist.

Antisemitism is the world’s most reliable early warning sign of a major threat to freedom, humanity and the dignity of difference.

It matters to all of us. which is why we must fight it together.

Jews only, can not be, both - the cause of this sickness, be blamed, and at the same time serve as the magician, doctors healers, expected to eradicate the infested world of this malady's spread!!!

Israel's hasbara can’t combat Jew-hatred

No amount of PR, regardless of its quality, can counter anti-Zionism and its root, antisemitism. By Ruthie Blum, (JPOST )

Wafa Sultan - a Syrian-American medical doctor, born into a large traditional Alawite Muslim family, a writer, and critic of Islam, is much better at debating "a battle between modernity and barbarism"

David Harsanyi
 (New York Times)

Last week, a wave of Jew-hatred broke out in the U.S., with attacks by men waving Palestinian flags in Los Angeles and New York. If there were such attacks against Muslims, the media would rightly speak of nothing else right now. These weren't clashes between pro-Israel demonstrators and pro-Palestinian demonstrators. These were attacks by the latter on whatever Jews they could find. And they should prove the falsehood of the narrative that "anti-Zionism" is distinct from anti-Semitism.

Israel is in the business of protecting Jews, in a world that has repeatedly and dramatically threatened the lives of Jews and/or failed to protect them. It's an especially tough task when your neighbors are continually plotting to murder your people. (National Review)

The world needs to recruit its most influential key opinion leaders, law enforcement officials, lawmakers, Statesmen, politicians, intellectual elite, religious scholars/funcioneers, and educators, to stop the venomous Hydrea heads from the viral splitting and spreading.

Few have already made their voice be heard , but it is not enough in the battle against this tsunami wave rise.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have taken a stance against antisemitism, condemning hate against the Jewish community. well as did NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio

NBC news video clip

Bill de Blasio ( Times of Israel)

After a series of violent attacks by pro-Palestinian rioters targeting Jews, New York city mayor Bill de Blasio tweets, “Anti-semitism has NO place in our city.”

“There’s no excuse for violence against someone because of who they are. None. We will bring the perpetrators of this vicious act of hate to justice.”

President Joe Biden on Monday called for an end to anti-Semitic attacks in the U.S. that have been on the rise in the wake of the recent conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. He tweeted: "The recent attacks on the Jewish community are despicable, and they must stop. I condemn this hateful behavior at home and abroad - it's up to all of us to give hate no safe harbor."  (statement source)

Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Israel's Channel 12 on Tuesday:

"Anti-Semitism's been on the rise in the United States and around the world for the last several years. And we know this from history. It's the canary in the coal mine because it's almost inevitable that when you see anti-Semitism erupt and emerge, hatred directed at other groups almost is sure to follow. And we're seeing that in the United States now with hatred directed, for example, at Asian Americans."

"Things are happening that we have to address. Because if it's allowed to fester, if it's allowed to grow, if it's allowed to go even further with impunity, you wind up having a conflagration that affects a lot of people. So we're taking this very, very seriously....We're determined to deal with that and put it to an end." (U.S. State Department)

Finally, on June 10th/2021, Silicon Valley Tech Leaders of companies via which some of the hate spread is propagated on their own platforms, made their voice heard

including Google, Twitter and YouTube, are among about 200 technology and business leaders who have signed onto a letter calling out antisemitism.

If we’re going to stand against hate in all its forms, we need to stand against anti-Semitism. Too few Americans acknowledge that anti-Semitism — prejudice against Jewish people — exists. It is an insidious and long-standing hatred.

Stephen Harper - former Canadian prime minister on Israel.

Despicably the Intelligentsia elite and Human Right entities are partners in crime

The Intelligentsia's Craven Silence in the Face of Anti-Semitism Is Unforgivable - (Newsweek) Steven A. Cook. -The writer is a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. (Newsweek) There have been almost 200 anti-Semitic attacks in the last two weeks as Jews have been watching our safety in this country go up in smoke. Attacking Jews as a sign of solidarity with Palestinians is just anti-Semitism with a new excuse. Sometimes my daughter wears a Star of David necklace. Should I tell her not to wear it?

Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch, condemned the "cynical politicization of the world's top health agency at the expense of focusing on the Covid-19 pandemic."

"Out of 34 items on the current world health assembly's agenda, only one, Item 25 targeting Israel, focused on a specific country. There was no agenda item or resolution on...Syria, where hospitals and other medical infrastructure are repeatedly and deliberately bombed by Syrian and Russian forces; not on war-torn Yemen, where 18 million are in dire need of health assistance; and not on Venezuela, where the health system is in a state of collapse and 7 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance."

Acting in the aftermath of the fighting in Gaza, a United Nations panel in Geneva approved a far-ranging inquiry into Israel’s actions.

The resolution called for the creation of a permanent “Commission of Inquiry” — the most potent tool at the council’s disposal — to monitor and report on rights violations in Israel, . t would be the first such COI with an “ongoing” mandate.

The ‘anti-Israel obsession’ session and the resolution were arranged by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which has strongly supported the Palestinians in their conflicts with Israel.

The Human Rights of Israeli Civilians Are Beyond the Scope of the UN Human Rights Council - Dr. Ron Malka (The Print-India) The writer is Ambassador of Israel to India. On Thursday in Geneva, the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) will hold a Special Session to pass another anti-Israel decision. It will be the 9th such session devoted to Israel, out of a total of 30 special sessions held since 2006. Given the abhorrent situations and insurmountable challenges faced by so many around the world, is it even remotely rational to devote 30% of special sessions to Israel? Moreover, the UNHRC will either ignore or obscure the more than 4,000 violations of international humanitarian law committed by Hamas since 10 May. That is the number of indiscriminate rockets which terrorist organizations in Gaza launched at civilians living in Israeli towns and cities. Apparently, the human rights of Israeli civilians are beyond the scope of the UNHRC.

Hamas has brought nothing but sorrow and suffering to the Palestinians living under its rule. This was demonstrated during the recent conflict when Israel twice facilitated the passage to Gaza of convoys of trucks loaded with fuel and humanitarian aid. Both times, the convoys were targeted by mortars fired from Gaza. Strengthening a Mafia murderous terrorist organization and its extremist followers throughout the Middle East will deal another blow to those seeking peace and stability.

And I do hope, that the media outlets and social networks on,which their platforms a proliferation of antisemitic vile, fake news, blunt lies and twisted misinformation are being freely propagated, will curtail access and seriously and honestly curb this sick enthusiasm.

Let see Facebook seriously honor its own declaration and others should all follow

False news is harmful to our community, it makes the world less informed, and it erodes trust. It's not a new phenomenon, and all of us — tech companies, media companies, newsrooms, teachers — have a responsibility to do our part in addressing it.
